11 Nov 2012. PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has the potential to be the centre for superbike gatherings in the region, said the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. "We have, in the peninsular, excellent highways and well maintained trunk roads connecting almost all the towns. "Riding in convoys to these places gives a whole new experience and I saw the potential of us becoming a hub for such activities," said the Prime Minister at the 1Malaysia biker week here on Sunday.
The gathering is to mark the end of a convoy of more than 4OO supersikes, which had travelled throughout the peninsula from Johor Baru since Tuesday.
Najib later led the convoy for an 18km ride around Putrajaya on a three-wheeled Spyder.
